This quote sums up our passion. We are passionate about life and all of it’s magnificent yet quickly fleeting moments. We are passionate about preserving these moments. We love wedding albums sitting on coffee tables, family portraits hanging on living room walls, and photos of grandkids threatening to pop the seams of grandpa’s wallet. We believe in the power of the moment, but beyond that, we believe in the power of your moments.

boekell photography LLC exist to provide the best source of wedding photography, senior portraiture, event shooting, and portrait photography in the Tri-State area, while passionately pursuing excellence in all areas of photography for the purpose of preserving the memories of our clients in the most professional and artistically sound way possible

// who we are //
boekell photography LLC is a combination of two extraordinary photographers. Paul Boekell has been shooting weddings and portraits for over 3 years, and his wife, Sarah Beth Childers Boekell, has been a part of it all for over a year.

Sarah Beth and Paul were married on October 18th of 2008 (you can check out photos of the wedding and honeymoon over on the blog). Paul shot his first wedding in the Fall of 2005 and Sarah Beth joined him for her first wedding on July 7th of 2007 (which also happened to be the day they officially became a “dating couple”)

Things moved fast from there for the happy couple and the photography business. Paul asked Sarah Beth to be his wife on November 12th of 2007 and they would be married less than a year later... time flies when you fall in love. During this year, boekell photography LLC would also take a few new steps, by beginning to offer senior portrait photography, and then expanding to offer all of the portrait and event services they do now (see list below).

Sarah Beth brings a feminine touch and a stunningly artistic eye for the style and the detail of your wedding shoot (or to any photo shoot for that matter). She will graduate from Marshall University in May of 2009 with a degree in Fine Arts / Graphic Design and substantial time put in across the hall in the photography department.

Paul offers over 3 years of professional wedding and portrait photography experience along with a Fine Arts / Photography Degree from Marshall University. He also brings with him an incredible passion to see your greatest memories preserved in the most beautiful way possible and he will go the extra mile to make this happen.

Paul and Sarah Beth are in love with each other and in love with life and all of its extraordinary moments. They would love to share these moment with you and help you preserve them for lifetimes to come.
